be a valentine

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs., 1 Corinthians 13: 4-5

Today is Valentines day, a day of love. So go out there and spread the joy and care for not just one person but for all those you hold dear to your heart. Be loving by doing things such as these. But of course it should not be a one day thing, but a practice for other more days.

Give
Be kind by giving your time to NGOs around your area. There are children who are orphaned and need a reminder that they are loved and are important. Rekindle hope in their hearts by giving them time, that is, according to be, the best gift ever.

Share
Have food on you? Share with others who are less privileged to have food. Better yet, cook and distribute love in a form of love to those people in the streets. Food is a way of showing love to others, share with them today.

Listen
Talk to people around you, listen to what they have to say. People want to be made to know that what they say matters. Ask them how they are, make the conversation about them. Let them open up to you, you might be surprised as to what they have to say.

Respect
Give your family and friends the respect due to them. Treat them well and acknowledge their efforts. Create a platform of trust and build bridges of love. The favor may be returned to you as well.

Forgive
Tell those who wronged you that you forgive them. But do not just say it, mean it. Its for your own good even. Don’t hold a grudge, be free! Be loving this Valentines and forth.
